The Date......Ouch. -Oh, Rezielle and the White Knight had been trying to set this up since Girls camp....
Umm... participants: White Knight/Rezielle, McMission/Diva Queen, Prince Charming and Me, and added a week before the actual date, Mr. Knowledge/ Squeakers.
Who flaked out for good reason: McMission- he's going on his mission soon- it was in 2 weeks last Thurs.
Who flaked out for NO apparent good reason, in my oppionion. (Well, GOOD but, he could've known about it at least a few days before, so he could've canceled ANY time except the morning of.) : Prince Charming.
Who didn't go because she didn't want to be a fifth wheel, then had something going on: Diva Queen.
Who flaked out without EVEN CALLING: a friend who said he was free for that night: Sir English (Boston, that is...)
Who went anyway, despite having TWO dates flake on her: Me.
The story behind....
OK, I spent the night at Rezielle's house, (oh Rezielle and Squeakers are sisters) Wed night, after spending Sun thru Wed at a friends house (she'd had surgery on her arm, and needed help getting things done, so I went over there for those few days..) and Wed morn Rezielle called me to say that McMission flaked. I understand WHY, but he could've done it a FEW WEEKS OR DAYS BEFORE!!! Any-who, so he flaked and our Diva Q. - hey, I'm changing that. cuz it wasn't very imaginative of me- to Suzie Q. Again, anyway, Suzie Q. wouldn't go cuz she didn't want to be the fifth wheel.
Thurs. morn, White Knight called Rezielle (oh it was White Knight who told Rezielle that McMission flaked.) So,he called Rezielle to tell her that Prince Charming flaked (oh did I tell you that McMission and Prince Charming are brothers?) Prince Charming flaked- because according to him, his Dads surprise b-day party was that night. I think that he knew about the party at least a couple days ahead, and could've called before.
So White Knight (now do you see WHY I call him that?) Called some of the date-able guys who lived in the area, and asked if they were available for that night. All of them said no, except one.Sir English.
So we went to where we were having the date.
Rezielle and White Knight went upstairs (we were in the basement) to make the pizza's. I stayed downstairs with Mr. Knowledge and Squeakers. A while later, I went upstairs to see how the pizza's were going, and the White Knight said they were almost done, and Sir English's grandfather was currently trying him. Joy.
I went downstairs, played Uno and Triominos with Mr.Knowledge and Squeakers, and then the White Knight & Rezielle came down with the pizza. We ate, then played Apples to Apples. Rezielle won. The first round, I was the judge, and the category was 'Lovely'. Someone threw in Reading Books, and I said some knows me really well. Everyone called it playing the judge. It was our White Knights card. Of course.
Any-who, after that, we watched Tangled. it was about 11 when we left. The date started at 6:30. lots of fun, but REALLY flaky dates.
Oh, there are going to be EIGHT STAKES at Girls Camp next year, and the Theme is BFF 'Be Forever Faithful' We have to turn in Registration by Sept. 10th. How much money we have to turn in by Sep. 30? -I think- we still don't know if it's $40 or $90 - If we want to go. Talk about crazy.
I was so happy today. We have a small family -all girls the oldest is 12- who come to church every now and then. Sweetie came to YW and took a camp form. She doesn't know if she can go, but she would like to. I think it'd be great.
I know I haven't posted in forever, and I still need to get Youth Conference pix on my blog, but, Thats a small sum of my life lately. Love you all!
