Snow's a meltin finally!!!! so.. quick update.
I finished my Individual Worth project in Personal Progress, and I'm working on my Knowledge. Fun fun fun.
I'll be 16 2 weeks from tomorrow! Alicia can't wait til she can start counting weeks. lol. Man, I'm tired of grumpy kids, but now, I'm not in charge 3 days a week! oh, anyone with something good to read, tell me, pretty please! I'm gunna die soon cuz it's almost impossible to find an appropriate book to read. (they're teen section royally stinks. they think teens are adults who don't have very many morals.) I hate their section. you have to look for HOURS just to find one book, then that book might have something that'll make you put it down. irritating. I guess that's why I'm writing my own books. Thanks for reading my posts even when I complain. I miss everyone. oh, Ima Nut, I found out what Coldplay is. simply one word for them: AWESOME! I like.

As to WHY Alice.....
Alright. I've had a few people ask me why my blog is the Alice legacy, and why my nickname is Alice, what my obsession with the name Alice is ect.... so I'm here real quick to answer.
Once Upon a Time...
I think it was the April General Conference (no guarantees, I just know it was a conference that year) in the year 2007. that time, we'd gone to the church to listen to it. we had some visitors stop in, with a girl who looked to be around my age. Me, my attention span for conference was still kinda, well, zilch-ed out after the first half hour, and I was really curious about this newcomer. so I wrote her a note telling her my name, asking hers, if she was visiting or moving here, how old she was, yada yada yada. then I chickened out, and I couldn't give it to her. So, being resourceful, I did the next best thing. I made Angus give it to her. it worked. she sent it back saying her name was Maddie, and they were just passing through. after conference ended, and we were eating lunch, we got to know each other. we exchanged addresses, and soon we started sending letters to each other. we quickly started with email, and sometime during the first year, over emails, she introduced me to her cousin Julie, and around the same time she started calling me Alice. I asked her WHY she calls me Alice, and she said that I remind her of Alice in Wonderland. (I don't see why, even these years later...) I became good friends with Julie as well, and in December of 2008, I was able to meet Julie face to face for the first time, and see Maddie again. I enjoyed it so much. Oh, as to Alice, after she started calling me that, she wouldn't stop, and finally it just stuck. Now I use it in usernames, Blogs, and as my pen name. (Yeah, pen name. I am writing a book, and as soon as I finish it, I'll be writing another. only the difference between the two, the first doesn't have magic, the second will.)

Yo! 12 new ways to FRY YOUR BRAIN!!!! In stores today....
1. Have a large family
2. Try to write a book, then go back and edit, change things, then continue on writing. (just trying to write works fine.)
3. Work on personal Progress, and finish a project.
4. Clean your room, and try to find things you'd had before you cleaned the stupid thing. (you know, it's messy, but at least you know where something is, and it's your mess.)
5. Having mom at work 3 days a week for about 3 years, so that means you're in charge.
6. Come close to being 16, and being released from your Mia Maid calling because A. you've had it for about a year. B. you have about 2 months before you do turn 16.
7. Have the first councilor in the branch presidency, who is also over the YW, move to a different state.
8. Have your sisters wedding and Girls camp the same month, within a FEW days of each other.
9. It's Winter, and Mutual was canceled, and now it's a REALLY good chance that we won't be able to go to church tomorrow DUE TO THE DANG SNOW THAT KEEPS FALLING!!!!
10. Have crazy siblings who like the snow.
11. Being allergic to the cold, and having your b-day in the middle of winter
12.NOT BEING ABLE TO FIND A NEW BOOK TO READ THAT IS NOT IMMORAL!!!!!
All of them work REALLY well on their own. Unfortunately, the combination is almost enough to kill someone. thankfully, it's just my norm, and I'm used to it. I just like to complain when I go stir crazy and have nothing to read, and am having a hard time working on my book.

No, Cinderella has yet to make it to the ball.
Okay guys. I need serious help here. I just got new Cinderella shoes on Saturday. -no for you smart Alec's, they are NOT glass, just silver leather-like stuff, shimmery, to-die-for-cute with mini heels, fit perfectly, and are as comfortable as all get out. I got to wear them Sunday, and I was looking forward to being able to break them in, so they are completely comfy, AND THEY CANCELED MUTUAL AGAIN!!!!! save m- WAIT!!! Mom's last day of work is next Friday, then I'll be free to do the girls day with Ester, Catherine, and Elizabeth (yes, the notorious Catherine who loves to dance, and will dance to EVERY and ANY song that is playing, as long as it is appropriate.) but until then, I gotta do seminary here at home, deal with grumpy kiddo's, and be perfectly, miserably, STIR-CRAZY!!!! I need help. I'm starting to feel like a certifiable nut. we're snowed in, so I don't go outside unless necessary, email is a joke right now, because people are so busy, I don't spend hours talking on the phone, because, again, people are busy, and everyone is long distance. I finally got my books, but I've already read most of them. so they're just re-reads. (which is good, because they go on my to buy list..) and duh, yeah I can work on my book, the question is when? that's another thing put on hold till mom's done working. when she has her days off, we spend them cleaning, or going somewhere because someone has an appointment or something of the sort. and while she's at work, I'm oldest home, and there are too many whiny kids, who are also trapped inside with me. yuck. OH!!! I forgot! I am doing one thing, I'm working on learning 'consider the lilies' piano for Sam and Lisa's wedding. I also need to make some bags and finish the lap quilt, and make some winter accessories. I'll get them done. sometime..... yeah, I'm busy here, but I just need to get OUT!!! and maybe FIND some bookstores with the new books I want..... whatever, I'll live. I just needed to vent. OK I'm good till next Wednesday, when they say that mutual is canceled. again. (sigh) oh well....... Bye!
Super Model Cousins- not fair
In my last post, I told y'all that Alicia and Kami look like models, right? well here's their family pic so you know what I mean. everyone in this looks great, but the two who have changed the most since I've seen them are Alicia and Kami. -oh, later I'll be posting a pic of my friend Alicia. cousin lives in ID and friend lives her in MO. (YES!! grumpy finally is taking a nap. Kyle's been teething, growing, and just plain being sick lately, and I got landed with him today.. oh well. he's doing a lot better now. just tired.) anywho.... here's the pic. the tall brunette is Alicia, and the cute blond - well, only blond is Kami. (looking at the photo, Kami almost looks taller. hmm. I'll have to ask.)
Alright. Back row: left to right. handsome grey haired man is my Grandpa Stevens. the wonderful lady to his left (our right) is my aunt Sondra. next, the tall guy is my cousin Jared, the oldest of the group. beside him is his dad Craig.
Middle: on the very left as we look at it is my wonderful Grandma Stevens. beside her is Alicia. Then the whole reason I received this pic is Devon, our new deacon. then Kami, tall, blond, and really stellar looking. right? then we have Issac. he's the youngest guy in the family.
Front: the cuties. left, is Natalie. (I think that this is how we spell their names) then, the youngest of the entire family is Carrie/Kari - I really gotta ask how they spell that......
oh yeah, I gotta remind Sondra about that incident with Natalie in 2008. I wonder if she's old enough to be embarrassed yet.......

It's REALLY not that hard to leave a comment.
alright. pay attention to the polls. cast a vote. and please tell me what you think. oh, for those of you that think my blog needs a little changing, really, leave a comment, so I know what I should change, add, remove......
My friend hollered at me yesterday. (I will admit I totally deserved it- this time..) she didn't like my new years eve post. Catherine said she did not spend the entire night dancing with my brother. so I'll correct myself. she spent half the night dancing with Taylor. FYI I counted 8 to 10 dances between the two, and I'd also spent a good ten to fifteen minutes talking with some friends over refreshments. so, I guess she didn't dance the entire night away with him. just the first few, some in the middle, and the last 4. ha ha.
I BROKE THE LOCK ON MY EMAIL!!!!! WAHOO!!! that means I get to embarrass people forever with New Years Eve dance pix.. HAHAHAHAHA!!! I love being me. oh, ALICIA!!! you and Kami look like models. soo not fair. I turn around for one minute and you get into trouble. bad girl. oh well ttfn.

Let it Snow...not... SAAVE MEEEE!!!!
NOO MORE SNOOOOW!!!!! Help me. I'm snowed in. There was no mutal or seminary this week, waah!!! I NEED OUT!!! soo... HOPEFULLY mom's gonna attend the meeting in Liberty (which is about an hour away-ish) and I'll get to go with...... I'm dying here... I feel really bad. at the new years eve dance, I forgot to give my friend my email addy, so now I GOTTA WAIT TIL I SEE HER AGAIN!!!! no progress on the pix yet. for some reason both my emails are rejecting all mail sent from them, and I think I have a solution, BUT I LEFT IT AT THE CHURCH!!!! so now I gotta wait til Sunday. again. goodness gracious great balls of FIRE! I am going crazy in this house!! I need to get out, but the only other option is to go outside. yuck.. I HAVE NO MORE BOOKS!!!! I suppose I could always work on my book, but that means I gotta kick people off the computer (I'm doing this on my moms laptop.)

No, I'm Not a Bloody Vampire.....
I just seem to have this red thing going on.... Red bunk bed, red mp3 player, red pillow case, red scripture bag, favorite red skirt, and red earrings, so why not a red blog to match. Although I draw the line at dying my hair red. In any case, while I have a red theme inside the house, we've got a WHITE theme outside the house. mega snowstorm here. So bad in fact, that when Angus tripped with an armful of wood (yeah, he's OK,) he had a hard time finding the biggest pieces of wood. maybe I'll go make a snowman tomorrow....... KIDDING!!! If you know me at all, I REALLY dislike the cold. It's bad for my health. (not really, it just makes me miserable...) which is why I was having an insane moment when first created my blog. I mean seriously? aliceICELAND??? oh well. It's probably because it's the total opposite of me... now I'm just babbling. Luv ya all!

WAHOO!! It fits, right?
some amusement while we eagerly await the pix from the magical night called New Years Eve......
For starters...... We just got our hot water in! I'd gotten so used to having to heat water to do dishes that today I told Brieanna to put water on to heat for dishes and she almost did, then we both realized, DUH we have hot water hooked up.
now that my room looks presentable I'll have to post a few pix of my collections. (and for those who haven't seen my parents blog, I'll post my sewing.)
here's a shocker that didn't make my mom too happy...... Girls Camp is May 31st..... (I think,) 4 days after Lisa's wedding, and she's camp director, and I'm ycl. fun right? Finish a great big event, and turn right around and go to camp never-ending. -my personal name for it because you walk a great stinkin long way to get anywhere....... I seriously hope I'm not landed with the 4th years....... I DON'T WANT THE OVERNIGHT HIKE!!!!!!!!
It was serious killer. They said it's 5 miles there (oh, don't forget the FREAKIN' HEAVY HIKING PACKS THAT DON'T FIT!!!!!) and 5 miles back..... it was SIX miles there, and a bunch of 'c'mon girls, just one more mile' and 'just half an hour more' and oh, three miles and a few hours later we finally make it to the camp site. then we hike half a mile BACK down the same trail, to see a cave, and then half a mile back to the camp site. Then it was an EASY FOUR MILES back to the cars... c'mon, what's the big idea? tell us the first part is easy and KILL US, then go, good job, then next part should be easier? we didn't believe them until we actually got back to the cars really quickly..... then to add to injury, I was riding with a brother who's worse then my dad when it comes to teasing.... I'd said that my legs hurt, and his reply was "So? Your face hurts me, but I'm not complaining." Don't worry guys, I'd earned it.
I got pretty good payback when Taylor Swift 'Love Story' came on, on the radio, and I said 'turn it up' and he turned up to eardrum blasting, and instead of us saying "TURN IT DOWN!!" we all sang along. he looked really glum, but he was just pullin' our leg. by the way, I'm remembering all this with a smile on my face... all in all, camp was a blast. I look forward to this year.
Oh yeah, LaWana about gave me a heart-attack. No joke. It was late Tuesday night, and I was finishing up, getting ready to go to bed, doing my usual computer routine. check both email, and the library, and I just about died. I went to my account on the library, to see what holds were in, and THERE WERE NO HOLD!!!! you gotta know that I'd been watching for some books for months, and they finally had them on order, and I was in position 1 on most of them, and I knew that these books would have long waiting lists. So imagine my surprise when THEY'RE ALL GONE!!!!
LaWana, thinking that our cards were still lost, put them all on hold on her card, then took them off hold on moms. meanwhile, I had no idea that she'd done that, thought that the library dropped our holds for some reason. so I carefully (carefully, because I was ready to destroy the library and the computer...) put a few of them back on hold, and my positions were something like this: 15, 11, 11, 9, 195... (they changed a little) so going from 1 to that, put me in a sour mood. then mom got an email from LaWana explaining the entire thing. she's totally forgiven, but that was the worst scare I've had in a couple years. understand, that where hanging with friends is a typical teenage life, my life is dependent on those books because I live out in the country, and it's kinda hard to spend the day goofing off with buds... and yeah, I still totally have the greatest bunch of friends ever. we're all just really spread out.
Last thing real quick. I'll be doing a post called 'Just My Size'.... Angus got a new toy, and Kyle loves it..... I'll finish explaining in my next post + vid.

btw, being weird is a very good thing. it means you're not a robot. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS NORMAL!!!! hahaha, I'm not weird, I HIT THE CRAZY LIST (and yes, I'm hyper right now..)

And a happy New Year.
Well, it's a new year now, and in a month and a half, I will be sixteen, and in May, Lisa will be married. It's amazing really, I never thought that we'd become old enough to date, and marry. Y'all know, when you're a kid, you think it'll last forever, well same goes for teens.
I got to dance the year away last night. It was really amazing. I got to meet up with all my stake friends, (I'll be posting pix later, when Elizabeth gets them to me) and I was able to see Joe Richardson. I had so much fun talking with him, and getting caught up on things. a couple of my friends know Sam. when I told them that it was my sister that was marrying him, they were ecstatic. Also, great, great news! Mom is a YW camp director this year, and I'm a Y.C.L along with all my best buddies.
Just a few more things. I danced with a guy name Matt, to a fast song, (don't remember what song...) and we did a swing dance, it was so much fun. the about the middle of the night, a slow song started, and I went and stole Taylor from my friend Catherine. (Which was fine because he danced almost the entire night away with her... so much fun to tease) Then, one of my personal favorites played, (when you say you love me) and I snagged a guy in our branch, Daniel (I'd post his picture if he hadn't made a silly face in it.) and got him to dance with me. The last song of the evening was a slow song, and I danced with an amazing guy. His name is Andrew, he lives in Gallatin, and he's 16. yes, I remembered. he's also on the youth committee this year.

I got to dance the year away last night. It was really amazing. I got to meet up with all my stake friends, (I'll be posting pix later, when Elizabeth gets them to me) and I was able to see Joe Richardson. I had so much fun talking with him, and getting caught up on things. a couple of my friends know Sam. when I told them that it was my sister that was marrying him, they were ecstatic. Also, great, great news! Mom is a YW camp director this year, and I'm a Y.C.L along with all my best buddies.
Just a few more things. I danced with a guy name Matt, to a fast song, (don't remember what song...) and we did a swing dance, it was so much fun. the about the middle of the night, a slow song started, and I went and stole Taylor from my friend Catherine.
